// IFA 2012 – Thomson Announces X-View 3

Just few weeks after the release of his X-View 2 smartphone, Thomson offer the market the X-View 3 device with a 5.3-inch screen and two SIM card slots.

The X-3 is a bit more ambitious than the X-2 specifications side, especially since it embeds a dual-core processor – against a single-core which was avalabel in previous model – and a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Its main camera sensor is also higher, it is 8 megapixels now – compared to previous model X-View 2 who had a 5 megapixel sensor, but produces 8-megapixel snapshots. Finally, there is a battery of 2500 mAh which allows for two days of intensive use before recharging.

When it comes to its dimensions, Thomson X-View 3 is lighter and thinner than its predecessor. It also works on Android 4.0 and it will be available from November at a price slightly higher than the X-View 2.
