After Xperia Z, Sony unveils the Xperia SP and Xperia L

After the Xperia Z was perfectly launched on the market, Sony has finally presented two other smartphones for 2013. There are two mid-range smartphones: Xperia SP and Xperia L.

Xperia SP

[adsense] With its aluminum hull, the Xperia SP should be both elegant and robust. The only small difference compared with the rest of the range is LED bar below the screen, visible on the front and back of the smartphone. As in 2012 model, the light effect informs you of new messages or notifications.

Another useful feature called “Glove Mode” allows you to use the touch screen with gloves. The camera of the Xperia SP is no exception: the 8 MP sensor with Exmor RS triggers one second after the screen saver. The autofocus is also capable of detecting face and smile.

Sony Xperia SL

When it comes to software, the smartphone is equipped with application Walkman that have 3D surround sound, Equalizer and music recognition software. On connections side there is a Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, MHL, HDMI output and headphone jack.

Sony Xperia L

The Xperia has a little smaller functions which are similar to its predecessor, although its hardware is slightly reduced. Thus we find a Qualcomm processor clocked at 1 GHz. In connection there is also a LTE compatibility, HDMI and MHL. The battery is 1700 mAh by Sony with a range up to 498 hours of standby time.

The new generation of Sony devices should be available in the second quarter of 2013. The Sony Xperia SP has a suggested retail price of 419 euros, while the Xperia L is proposed to 299 euros.
