Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame: Two New Entry-Level Smartphones by Samsung

Samsung have two new devices which are waiting to be unveiled. The Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame will be presented in more detail at MWC, where their prices will be also announced.

For an audience that is looking for a smartphone that are not necessarily very powerful, devices Young and Fame are aesthetically similar: their differences are only in hardware.

Samsung Galaxy Young has a screen diagonal of 3.27 inches (8.3 centimeters), showing a definition of 480 x 320 pixels, a single core processor clocked at 1 GHz, a 3-megapixel photo sensor at back, 768 MB RAM, 4 GB of storage and a microSD card slot, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is powered by Android 4.1.

For its part, the Galaxy Fame have quite amazing characteristics. Its screen measures 3.5 inches (8.89 cm) with a HVGA resolution, 512 MB RAM, 1 GHz processor, 4 GB of storage with microSD card reader and two photo cameras, one 5 megapixel sensors and other one is VGA. It also features Android 4.1.

Both device should have dual-SIM versions, even if it is not certain that they will be available in all European countries. The MWC will be held at the end of the month in Barcelona which should be an opportunity to learn more about Samsung Young and Samsung Fame.
