Nokia Phi Running Under Windows Phone 8 Finally Revealed

Several weeks ago information about a new Nokia prototype have leaked, the supposed Nokia Phi equipped with Windows Phone 8.

From below image you can clearly notice that it is quite similar to the Nokia Lumia 800 and 900, apart from the color variation.

Drawings of the patent have been published (see below), revealing the true design of the Nokia Phi, where once again the resemblance with former Lumia is obvious.

Although the curved screen has been declared as one of the features of this new smartphone from the site The Verge, it seems obvious that this is not the case. Despite this, the design of the Nokia Phi shows a curved back, rather than in Lumia 800/900, which are relatively flat on the back. In addition, two speakers will present this time on the bottom of the phone, unlike his two little brothers who do not have one.

The buttons seem to be the same as the Lumia 900, either on the right side of the phone or the bottom of the screen, although the spacing of the camera button seems to be more important (and therefore which will position the latter much lower). In addition, the volume buttons and the buttons are much more distant ignition from one another.

A USB microphone will be on the bottom of the phone in the middle. Meanwhile, the input jack is located at the top of the phone. In addition, this new smartphone will offer the possibility to introduce a microSD card (the same place as the microSIM) at the top right of the unit.

Nokia Phi would seem to present the following main characteristics:

  • AMOLED 4.5 screen”;
  • Support for 4G;
  • Possibility of adding a microSD card;
  • Qualcomm dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz;
  • Polycarbonate integral body.

We still don’t know the prices and when it will be the official announcement of this Nokia smartphone.
