// IFA 2012 – Huawei Ascend G600, Dual Core ICS Android Smartphone

Chinese manufacturer adds a model to its range Ascend Android smartphone at the IFA 2012 in Berlin. The Huawei Ascend G600 is positioned as a solid mid-range terminal.

The manufacturer Huawei is one of those players on the latest smartphones that intend to make a place in the short term on the segment and begin to align models under its own brand and not just reserved for the Chinese market.

The latest announcement from this manufacture is Huawei Ascend G600, a smartphone with a large screen 4.5″ resolution  qHD (960 x 540 pixels) Gorilla Glass. It features a 1.2 GHz dual core processor with 768 MB of RAM and 4 GB ROM, expandable microSD slot.

Dimensions of this smartphone are 134 x 67.5 x 10.5 mm, it has a 8 megapixels camera on the back and a camera on the front side for video conferencing. NFC (Near Field Communications) chip is also present for this smartphone running under Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The Huawei Ascend G600 is equipped with a 2000 mAh battery coupled to an energy management system providing 6 hours of talktime and up to 380 hours standby. Finally, there is a dual speaker with DTS sound optimization.

Huawei announces availability of Huawei Ascend G600 for the month of December 2012 in Germany, before touching other European markets at a price of €299 in black or white colors.
