Analysts at JP Morgan, which is one among the most important in this sector, argue that the new device from Taiwanese company HTC, the ONE, is the right device to resurrect the Asians and the first positive signs at the financial level will be seen as early as the next quarter.
In particular, Alwin Kwock, in a note to clients dating back to April 11, reported: “We have repeatedly pointed out that the new One is the last chance for a breakthrough of HTC. Now we think that HTC has done enough to see at least a mini-breakthrough.”
One of the key factors of this “mini breakthrough” will also be the resolution of production problems of the device which forced HTC to repeatedly postponed the launch of its flagship smartphone. Despite the release of the Samsung Galaxy S4 at the same time, they argue that the gains from HTC will be higher by 50% compared to the first quarter of 2013.
What do you think, will HTC One be huge success or complete failure?
