How To Set Android Owner Info On Your Android Lock Screen?

Not long ago made a tutorial where we gave you some instructions on how to recover the phone you have lost. But if something like that happens, there are chances that the person who have found you phone want to return it back o real owner. But the problem is how to let that person know who is the real owner of the phone, the answer, set the owner info on your lock screen so everyone can see it even if they can’t unlock your phone and in this tutorial I will show you how to do that.

Display Owner Info on Android Lock Screen

A lot of Android smartphones, such as Samsung Galaxy S2 or S3 and Samsung Galaxy Note 1 and Note 2 have Owner Information settings that can display your contact information directly on lock screen. To set up this option in Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2:

Step 1: From your home screen tap on “Menu” button or drag the notification bar from the top of your screen and choose “Settings“.

Step 2: Scroll down the options and choose “Lock Screen“.

Step 3: Tap on “Owner information“.

On other Android devices this option can be found in

Step 2: Scroll down the options to “Personal” section and then tap on “Security“.

Step 3: Under “Screen security” section tap on “Owner information“.

Step 4: Now inside the box enter your contact information such as your full name, phone number or email address.

Step 5: Select a check box in front of “Show owner info on lock screen” and close this screen.

Step 6: Lock your device and when you open you lock screen again you will see that you contact information’s are added to lock screen.
