How To Root Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini?

The Galaxy S3 Mini is a small cousin of the Galaxy S3 series. In this tutorial I will show you how simple and very fast you can root Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini device.

The root is risky, if you do not follow the procedure properly, you can end up with a unusable phone. Similarly, there is usually no loss of data using this method, but caution is the mother of safety, back up all your data first and then continue following steps below. Neither myself nor DeviceMondo can not be held responsible for anything.

Step 1: First download this file and unzip it somewhere on your computer.

Step 2: Download and unzip the Odin from this link in separate folder on your computer.

Step 3: Lunhc the Odin app you downloaded in Step 2 and when new window opens up click on “PDA” button and find the file downloaded in Step 1. Also select the check box in front of PDA button.

Step 4: Under Options section, make sure you select checkboxes in front of “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time”.

Step 5: Turn off your Galaxy S3 Mini and restart into Download mode (press Volume Down + Power buttons and then confirm with Volume Up)

Step 6: Connect your Galaxy S3 Mini to your PC via microUSB to USB cable and wait for Odin to recognize it. Once your Samsung Galaxy S3 is recongnized press “Start” button inside Odin application window.

Step 7: Wait a few minutes once entire rooting pricess is finished, and then your smartphone will restart.
