How to Bypass the Standard Android Security?

Many of us block our android phone system with the characteristic pattern of Android security. Always been known as a good way to protect your phone from prying eyes and provides a good overall safety. But as I’ve said, if someone wants to get into your phone, it will. With or without pattern.

This time a user of XDA (m.sabra) has just discovereda very simple method that will allow us to skip the pattern up any Android phone without being root. Only two things are need:

  1. Knowing how to use ADB
  2. Have enabled debugging mode

The methods to bypass the unlock pattern are as follows

Method 1

Inside the ADB console type the following commands

adb shell cd
sqlite3 settings.db
update system set value=0 where name=’lock_pattern_autolock’;
update system set value=0 where name=’lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently’;

Method 2

Method 2 is much easier, all you have to do is run is just run the following

adb shell rm /data/system/gesture.key

We personally suggest you to use following routine:

  • Method 1
  • Reboot
  • Method 2
  • Reboot

By following above methods and as shown in above video you can unlock your Android phone without using any previously specified patter but the random one you choose.

Android Standard Security Bypass Conclusions

From this we have to draw several conclusions. No matter how complex is your security pattern, PIN code or whatever, if you know someone steals your mobile phone he can easily access your phone with or without your pattern. This method can be a good solution for all the people who put up a pattern and then forget it. I hope you found it interesting.
