HP ElitePad 900: Atom Tablet With Windows 8

Hewlett-Packard group communicates on a touch pad (HP ElitePad 900) that destine the professional market.

Named ElitePad 900, it will be hosted by one of the recent Intel mobile processors, the dual core Atom Z2760 clocked at 1.8 GHz, and accompanied the Microsoft operating system expected in October 2012, namely Windows 8 in the Professional edition.

Weighing 680 grams and having thickness of 9.2 millimeters, it will offer an aluminum hull, a 10.1 inch display with resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels protected against scratches, network connect Wi-Fi N and 3G, a 1080p webcam, dual microphone and an 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and a flash memory with capacity up to 64 GB.

It will offer a variety of software tools and services, for example, simplify access to Wi-Fi hotspots in public spaces, data encryption, lock the device remotely in case of loss and the possibility to completely or partially delete data remotely from HP ElitePad 900 in case of loss.

The availability of this Hewlett Packard ElitePad 900 Windows 8 tablet will take place in January 2013. Various accessories such as a dock, a protective pouch with or without additional battery – extended battery life to 20 hours! – A wireless keyboard and a stylus will be offered too.
